Hypnosis
Stress & Anxiety
Everyday stress and anxiety can build up quietly — tight shoulders, a racing mind at bedtime, that low hum of worry that never quite switches off. Hypnosis works with your body’s own relaxation response, helping you access a calmer state more easily and more often, not just during our sessions but in daily life. Together, we’ll explore what’s driving the tension and use hypnosis to help your mind and body practice a different way of responding — steadier, clearer, and more at ease.
Smoking Cessation
Quitting smoking is rarely just about willpower — it’s about breaking a deeply ingrained habit that your mind has learned to rely on. Hypnosis works below the surface, helping to loosen that automatic connection between stress, routine, or emotion and reaching for a cigarette. Many people find they’re able to let go of smoking with far less struggle than they expected, replacing the habit with a calmer, healthier relationship to stress and daily life.
Eating Disorders
Disordered eating is often tangled up with control, self-image, and deeply rooted emotional patterns — not simply about food itself. Hypnosis can be a valuable complementary tool, helping to ease anxiety around eating, quiet self-critical thinking, and support a healthier relationship with your body. This work is most effective alongside your existing medical and psychological care, not as a replacement for it. If you’re not currently working with a physician or therapist for an eating disorder, I’m glad to help you find the right support alongside anything we do together.
Confidence & Performance
Whether it’s speaking up in a meeting, performing under pressure, or simply trusting yourself in everyday decisions, confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t — it’s a skill your mind can strengthen. Hypnosis helps quiet the inner critic and self-doubt that often gets in the way, so your natural capability has room to show up. Many clients use this work to prepare for a specific goal — a performance, a presentation, an athletic event — while others simply want to feel more at ease and self-assured in daily life.
Phobias
A phobia can make an ordinary situation — flying, heights, needles, tight spaces — feel disproportionately overwhelming, even when you know the fear doesn’t match the real risk. That gap between what you know logically and how your body reacts is exactly where hypnosis can help. By working directly with the subconscious response behind the fear, many people find noticeable relief in just a few sessions, allowing them to face what once felt impossible with far more calm and control.
Life Coaching
Sometimes you don’t need therapy — you need a thinking partner. Life coaching focuses primarily on the present and the future. While your past experiences provide important context, the emphasis is on understanding where you are now, where you want to go, and what needs to change to get there.
Sessions typically begin with a conversation about what’s happening in your life, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we identify specific goals and explore the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be helping — or getting in the way of — your progress.
This work is collaborative and forward-looking. You remain in control throughout the process. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and help you see possibilities that may be difficult to recognize on your own.
Life coaching isn’t about instant answers or overnight transformation. Meaningful change generally comes from gaining greater awareness, making intentional choices, and consistently taking action. Some people come to coaching with a clearly defined goal; others simply know that something in their life needs to change but aren’t sure where to begin — either way, we start from wherever you are.
This work can be useful across many areas: career and life transitions, personal growth, relationships, confidence and self-esteem, goal setting, motivation, decision-making, managing major changes, and creating a healthier balance between the different parts of your life. The goal isn’t to create someone else’s idea of a successful life — it’s to help you identify what matters to you, understand what’s getting in the way, and take purposeful steps toward the life you actually want.
